Spotify skips songs and doesn't play them

My Question or Issue

The application works on my phone, in web application but not on desktop app.

Will attempt to play a song but it never plays, seems to be stuck in a fast foward state. Will see the songs change rapidly with no audio all in the span of 10 seconds. Occurs for single songs and for playlists. Have unistalled and reinstalled.

Get message stating cannot play song from server and would need to play it from desktop.

Any help would be appreciated.
