Can NOT play local files

Using windows 10, I have several programs that run on my system that will play my mp3 files with out any issue. HOWEVER, Spotify has issues constantly with local files.

It will not add them to "the queue", and will not play at all when I click to play them. It does let em add to a playlist, but wont play them when the play list is played. (it just skips them). Again, I have them playing on 4 other programs on same Laptop. Local file support is really crappy on Spotify. I'm premium

I've spent hours trying to resolve this to no avail. What works for me is installing the 1.0.80.474 client. It is a bug within one of the most recent updates.
