Spotify Problem!

When I try to install the normal Spotify desktop program (not the one from the Microsoft store) it will automatically change (?) to the Microsoft store version.

Help!

What's your operational system?

Please check bellow the steps to reinstall your Spotify app properly and let me know if it helps!

WINDOWS

Close Spotify
Go to the Control Panel.
Click Programs and Features.
Select Spotify in the list and click uninstall.
Follow the instructions on the screen.
Download and install Spotify.

WINDOWS 10

Open Spotify and click File in the menu bar. Select Exit.
Click the Start button. Select Settings.
Open System.
Click Apps & features, then select Spotify.
Click Uninstall. Click Uninstall again in the pop-up to confirm.
Download and install Spotify from the Windows Apps store.

You tip dont work. Always when i download desktop version and i install Spotify (desktop version) is change to Microsoft Store. I have Windows 10. I dont like Microsoft Store edition 😕

But if you have Windows 10, that's the way to install the app.

Really? Microsoft Store Edition is unstable. Desktop Version is better 😕

All my f*** plugins are gone, thats what I dont like about the store version.
