Local files not playing on computer

So a while my computer spotify said nahhhhh and stopped playing a lot of my local files all im mp3. the computer says "Spotify can't play this right now. if you have the file on your computer you can import it" every time I click on them in my playlist and local file tab. I put the same music into 3 files that spotify picks up but still doesn't work. On my phone the local files are there when I synced it with my comp a while ago. So whats going on? like I've done all that I know possible

Did you check to make sure the source is correctly specified in the Spotify Settings?
