Podcasts hijacks my play queue

My Question or Issue

Sometimes when I visits a specific podcast feed while listening to a playlist the entire podcast feed replaces my playlist in the "Next Up"-list in the play queue. I don't even have to press play on a specific episode or add it to the queue.

It seems to happen when I visits a podcast feed that have new episodes. The feed refreshes as I enter the feed and when the refresh is fininshed the entire feed is added to the play queue

This is a totally erratic behaviour and still a problem more than a year later.

Sorry to hear that you're having such an issue with browsing podcasts.

Can you try the following:

Make sure you check if your Autoplay is disabled.

In case you experience the issue even after deactivating the feature, try logging in to another Spotify account on the same device to see if this persists. If it works with another account, you can follow the steps in this Spotify Answer next.
