My Question or Issue

Hello all,

I'm trying to connect directly to my Google Home speaker from the desktop version of Spotify. When I click on the device list, my Google Home speaker is not to be found. The speaker is connected to the wifi constantly, by the way. My current workaround is saying "Hey Google, play Spotify". But the problem with this is Spotify decides to restart the playlist instead of continuing on with the current song. Is there a way I can get my speaker listed in the Device List permanently?

On a side note, also notice that I cannot change the volume of the Google Home speaker from the Desktop Spotify once I've connected to the speaker from voice commands. Any reason why this is?
