Can't launch Spotify

My Question or Issue

A week ago I noticed that I couldn't open Spotify. I would click to launch the program and it would appear for a moment in task manager before disappearing again. To try and fix this, I deleted the program and downloaded Spotify again. Though when it launches after downloading I get an error message: Spotify could not be started. (Error code: 17).

Has anyone else been able to fix this?

Are you still having this issue? If so, could you go ahead and try a clean reinstall of the Spotify app? If this doesn't work, we can try a few other things.

I did try that, but it only worked for me after launching in safe mode.
