Is there a way to revert to an older spotify version in which the library functions the old way?

My Question or Issue

The new way the library functions is extremely obnoxious and counter intuitive. I have tried to install older versions of spotify to revert the way the library functions but none have worked. I simply want to use the library the old way which was superior in every sense of the word. I have also noted that my friend has the old library function as a free user but as a paying user I am forced to use the newer version. All of my music regardless of how I save it should be universal across of categories of my music. The way the new library functions does not allow me to save an album and remove the songs I dislike then only listen to the songs I saved from the album. I have to listen to the whole album if I play from the album tab. How does that make any sense?
