My Question or Issue

Premium now (i.e. Oct 2019) has no quality choice for downloads to a computer. The only choice is for streaming quality.
Does this mean that:

1. Quality of downloads for offline are the same as the quality chosen in settings for streaming.
or
2. Quality is always the same for downloads (irrespective of the streaming settings). If so what bitrate is it?

I would really appreciate a clear definite reply.

Also there used to be a code in Run (Windows) which opened a console to check bitrate but that doesn't appear to work any more (Spotify opens without console) although clearing cache on a computer version of Spotify is not that easy as there are several caches to choose from so that could be the problem.

Unfortenately that's ture.

The option of changing the audio quality for PC does not exist.

However, feel free to visit the "Ideas" section of the community, post your suggestion and have users add their +VOTE and comment to promote it.

Same as the Streaming quality.
