topic Why doesn't Spotify have basic features every other music player has? in Desktop (Windows)

Operating System

(Windows 10)

My Question or Issue

You're kidding me. No global hotkeys? No equalizer? No importing local music into your album library? No skins/customization? I just came from MusicBee which is free and open source and has all these features plus heaps more, to a service that has hundreds of millions of dollars yet lacks the bare-minimal functions of a basic music player.

There's a good thing Spotify has a monopoly on music streaming because if the industry were the least bit competitive their dev team might actually have to do some work on their awful program. Windows music player has more functionality.

Please add global hotkeys and equalizer at least. Pay some kid working at the Starbucks across the road to patch it in, it's not that hard.

Much love
