New messages in inbox are not new

Hello!

My inbox sometimes displays a number next to it indicating that I've received new messages.

When I check my inbox there are no new messages.

I've gone through every single message and when I exit the inbox it still says I've got new messages.

See attached picture. Yesterday there were no new messages and this morning I "had" six new ones.

Could be a filter issue and I'm just not seeing the new messages? mayhaps

Nope it looks normal on the webplayer.

Also, I restarted spotify a minute ago and the messages disappeared. I realize now I should've tested restarting the application before i started posting things on here 😛 BUT, this isn't the first time this happened.

The amount of new messages is usually one or two but this time it was six.
