topic sort ascending in Desktop (Windows)

I am using win desktop. I am trying to sort in the songs list {not a playlist} for some time now when I click on the up or down arrow next to title, artist or ion of a clock it fails to work. Why has this sort ascending/descending been blocked? What do I need to do to make it work again, is it to do with using chrome or firefox?

That sounds strange, would you mind attaching a screenshot of the issue?

Are the songs you're trying to sort located on the artist page or in your Liked Songs folder? Let me know and I'll see if I can figure out a way to help 🙂

as I say its not a playlist I type in title of song a list appears but recently the sort ascending/descending does not work on title, artist, album time or like. See screenshot a green up arrow is shown but clicking on it does nothing.
