I've tried three times, and have even rebooted in between, but every time it hangs at 90% when attempting to install, and I get Windows error message Ox80073D05. Any advice?

Thanks for your response! Method 1 didn't work (error message: Get-AppXPackage : Access is denied.
Access is denied.
At line:1 char:1
+ Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers -Name SpotifyAB.SpotifyMusic | Foreach {Add ...
+ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
+ CategoryInfo : NotSpecified: (:) [Get-AppxPackage], UnauthorizedAccessException
+ FullyQualifiedErrorId : System.UnauthorizedAccessException,Microsoft.Windows.Appx.PackageManager.Commands.GetApp
xPackageCommand

But Method #2 was a success! However, I still have my original problem of certain speakers/groups not showing up. But I guess I will pose that issue elsewhere.

Thank you again.

Hey there @JohnS43,

Thanks for reaching out - help’s here!

We suggest you first try re-registering the Mail and Calendar apps on your PC. Simply perform these steps:

Search for Windows PowerShell using Cortana or Windows Search.

From the results, right-click on Windows PowerShell and select Run as administrator.

Then type the following command and press the Enter key:

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers -Name microsoft.windowscommunicationsapps | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml” -Verbose}

Let the command complete.

Close Windows PowerShell.

This manual adjustment of the Windows 10 settings should easily resolve the issue.

In case you still experience the same after performing these steps, you can go ahead and reach out to the Microsoft help here.

Hope you'll find this info useful. We'll look out for your reply!

I'm not sure what my calendar and mail apps (neither of which I even use) have to do with my Echo speakers. Can you please clarify?

It doesn't have anything to do with them. I think what they did was look up the error code you got and the solution was to re-register the apps -- but that article used the calendar / mail apps as an example. I basically asked you to do the same thing but it was for the Spotify app and not the mail / calendar ones.

OK, but as I mentioned, your second solution (install via the Spotify site) worked for that problem, so it's no longer an issue.
