Windows 7: Sotify hide volume control icon in systray

Revently I've noticed when I run Spotify (Windows 7 x64) volume control icon vanishes 😞

This is very annoying, I simply get use to click on that icon to control volume, not inside Spotify as it's less accurate.

Why Spotify forces this behaviour?

Hey @Katsümi - help's here!

Could you try the following:

Go to Settings and search for 'Taskbar settings'
Scroll down to 'Notification area' and click on 'Select which icons appear on the taskbar'
Make sure that the option next to the Volume icon is toggled on

I have the same problem and this does not solve it.

Running Windows 10 in my case.

Thanks for reaching out to the Community about this.

Just to confirm, have you tried restarting your PC and checking once more? This step tends to solve issues like the one you're experiencing so it's worth it giving a try.

Make sure you restart the device after toggling on the Volume icon in the Taskbar settings.
