Spotify Will Not Open

My Question or Issue

The Spotify desktop app is refusing to open, every time I try opening it, it closes out of the app or displays a message saying "Warning: The Spotify application is not responding".

thanks for reaching out about this !

Let's try a few steps togthere :

- First of all, make a complete uninstall of your Spotify app through your control panel "Add and remove" feature.
- Then, delete the following folder C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Spotify

- Reinstall Spotify through here

If you were not able to locate the folder, please follow this :
- Uninstall Spotify: Start > Control Panel > Programs / Uninstall a Program > Spotify
- Find your AppData folder and delete all Spotify data
- Start, run, type: %appdata% and hit enter
- Delete the entire Spotify folder
- Restart your computer
- Reinstall Spotify
