How do I stop Spotify from accessing my Local Files?

My question:
Hi there,

I recently installed Spotify on my Windows desktop PC. I noticed that as part of installation Spotify searched my PC and found my local music files. I did not ask it to do this. Is the any way to remove/reset the record Spotify has of my local files?

The only option under Settings is to remove the menu option that lets you see the local music files Spotify has found (see attached screenshot). This isn't what I want, what I want is for Spotify to keep no record of my local files.
