    <description>&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Plan&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Premium&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Country&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;United Kingdom&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Device&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Home Desktop PC&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Operating System&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Windows 10&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;My Question or Issue&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have honestly tried everything to make the error code 4 go away from the PC app.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Unless there is an ongoing issue with just the app, I don't know what else to do, as it keeps going online and offline all the time.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have tried so far&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-Login in and out both using Facebook and a password.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-I have tried doing the DNS change.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-I have tried making an exception through firewall and even turning the firewall off altogether.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-I have also tried the proxy change.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-I have tried clean reinstalling Spotify.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-I have tried editing the lines in the Host document.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-I have tried resetting my router.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-I have tried turning on and off the UPnP option in the router as well.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The Web browser is working just fine and the Spotify from my phone is working as well.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This is apparently, to me, a fault with the app. After that latest update, I noticed it happening more and more.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Does anyone have any more advice to try? I am running out of options.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;We'd recommend performing another &lt;A href="https://community.spotify.com/t5/Spotify-Answers/How-can-I-perform-a-clean-reinstall-of-the-app/ta-p/4746485" target="_blank"&gt;reinstall&lt;/A&gt;, only this time try restarting&amp;nbsp;your computer in safe mode with networking enabled (usually accessible by pressing F8 during boot-up) before downloading and installing Spotify from the&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://www.microsoft.com/store/p/spotify-music/9ncbcszsjrsb?cid=spotifyweb-windows10-store-direct" target="_blank"&gt;Microsoft Store&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Xenia,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you for your help.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Apparently, when I installed it through safe mode and started it up in there, Spotify seemed to work.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Booting the PC once again without Safe Mode, Spotify does the same problem. I tried again disabling firewall/antivirus but still nothing.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Could you tell me how to proceed ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I just wanted to do a follow up.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Apparently, the problem was the "Killer Network" App from MSI.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am not sure what triggered that, as I had Spotify for months and the app co-existing. I just allocated the network to the highest settings for Spotify.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So far it works, so I guess that was the issue.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
