Spotify doesn't publish my activity when playing on Google Home

My Question or Issue

Hi,

When i'm playing Spotify on Google Home my friends can't see what i'm playing on the friends activity tab.

It works only when i'm playing music straight from my phone or laptop.

thanks for reaching out to the Spotify community !

Your "Friend Activity" feature doesn't reflect the content played via Spotify Connect or directly through Google home/Google Home mini.

There's this inactive idea made quiet long ago regarding the same matter.

What i would suggest is to create a new idea following the steps provided on this help thread and have users add their +VOTE and promote the idea again.

If you're unsure of how this "Idea" feedback reaches Spotify, you are more than welcome reading all about it here.
