songs on my playlist with the music note icon will not play

A few hours ago I was promoted to upgrade spotify. Now any song on my playlist with the little music note icon off to the right hand side will not play? I've tried to uninstall and reinstall spotify...nothing is working. More the 50% of my music will not play. Anyone having the same issue?

Hi, and welcome to the community!

That means you added them as a local file.

Either try adding them again from the folder they're in, or go to Edit>Preferences and add the folder theyre in so they appear in the local tracks tab of Spotify where you can add them to playlists.
