My Question or Issue

have new modem and now cant log into desktop spotify app, if i use mobile hot spot it works fine, but not when using wifi.
ive went through the fire wall settings and spotify is enabled, set proxy to "no proxy" reset the internet connection, reinstalled spotify... idk what else to try.

I have the same problem as the OP. Logging into my Spotify account with my new modem is fine on my iPhone, and fine when hotspotting on my PC, but when my PC is connected to the wifi, Spotify just won't connect and gives me the firewall error message.

I have tried turning off all my firewalls, and nothing.
