Unable delete ghost local files

My Question or Issue

I have tried several methods. When I hold and/or press delete the songs come right back, when I delete "local-file.bnk" or change its name the local songs still remain. I've been trying for months and I'm beyond fed up.

Why does spotify make it so hard to use local files.

I would appreciate it sincerely if anyone can help
