Spotify Connect Not working for iOS or Desktop

My Question or Issue

Multiple people at my workplace are unable to connect to our heos 1 via spotify connect, I have unplugged and plugged back in, reset my laptop, reset my phone, reset my wifi and still issues. Streaming on the HEOS 1 works with everything apart from Spotify. When we try to use spotify connect, it loads and remains playing through laptop or phone.

Was your Heos1 device had firmware update lately ?

If so, i recommend you restart to device as it should solve the issue.

It randomly started worked a couple of hours later.
