So I've been getting alot of spotify crashes and I can't really make out why.

When spotify starts on bootup theres, like a 50% chance it works, meaning it doesn't just close. Else it will just close after like max 3 min. And it will close without me even being at my pc. Usually it wouldn't work at all once it closed for one time so i would have to restart my pc to hope it would work that time.

After I opened this comminity site tho it didn't crash and showed me a red message "an unexpected error occured "(or so) ON THE WEB PAGE where I'm writing this post right now and now it seems to be working. I have no clue tho what keeps crashing/closing my spotify sometimes. Like it legit works just fine after restarting my pc but sometimes it doesn't and every time I'm not changing a thing about boot up or anything really.

Hey there @realcaze and @MichaelJerzak,

Thanks for reaching out to us about this - we'll be glad to help you out here.

Most common issues can be fixed with a quick reinstall of the app. In some situations however, a clean (more thorough) reinstall of the app might be needed. This way you can start afresh with Spotify on your PC.

Check out this help page in order to find the steps for clean reinstall on the affected device.

If it doesn’t do the trick, we’ll provide you with further help.

We'll look out for your reply.

And no reinstalling didn't do a thing I did it twice, crashes still happened 3 days later. Dunno what fixed it but I guess it's fixed for whatever reason.

So I just found out that you guys updated Spotify the day it started crashing. I noticed my power usage spiking to very high on task manager (which is vant be a problem for my pc, don't even give me that **bleep** just trying to give you guys ideas where you **bleep**ed up in in the new update).

I can reinstall spotify and it will run for as long as my pc is on. After a restart it is very likely it will start crashing again and the only solution is restarting my pc and hope that this the restart where it will work (which is so unlikely i give up after like 5 restarts) or just reinstalling spotify which is, even though my windows is on ssd, most of the time the faster option, unless I get lucky like I said. It has worked just fine till this update and I never had much trouble but**bleep** is really annoying. I know you mods are having a hard time since your just getting**bleep** for something your not responsible for. But hey, if you decided to work for a reliant company this wouldn't happen as much to you lol.
