Don't launch at startup

My Question or Issue

Spotify opens itself at startup even though I have it set not to. I've confirmed that this behavior happens with other Spotify users as well. How can I help to fix this? I do not have an entry in Task Manager's Startup tab from which I could disable Spotify, but it still starts.

Thanks for reaching out to us and welcome to the Community!

We'd recommend that you make sure that you have downloaded the app from the Microsoft store, then you can turn of that feature with the following steps:

Open the app
Go to Settings
Open Show advanced settings
Under Startup and Windows behavior you can choose not to open Spotify when you log in on your computer.
