topic Light Mode - please help in Desktop (Windows)

There has been a new idea running for 6 years ever since Spotify abandoned a light mode and switched to a dark mode. I personally like the dark mode a I am sure many people do. However this dark mode presents a serious issue for older people and people with impaired vision. Any sensible software provider would not have just dumped their existing light mode in favour of a new dark mode, they would have provided their users with an option. But not Spotify. Despite, how incredibly easy it is to support both light and dark modes they simply abandoned the light mode. This was a highly insensitive action by Spotify effectively giving the finger to their visually impaired customers. Spotify are ignoring their pleas to provide this basic service. Please take the time to visit this "new Idea" and post a vote in support of visually impaired people:

https://community.spotify.com/t5/Live-Ideas/All-Platforms-Light-Mode-Toggle/idc-p/5000942#M199796

Thank you.
