Spotify doesn't work with Discord

My Question or Issue

Spotify simply doesn't work with Discord in any way, shape, or form. I've tried every fix I found online to no avail, both apps are connected and linked to one another however Spotify does not show as my status whenever I listen to songs. Furthermore, whenever I try to listen to a song another Discord account is listening to or whenever I try to join a Listen-Along, the Spotify application will pop up however it will not play anything and would act as I've just brought the window up.

I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting both from one another a plethora of times, launching each as administrator and setting it to show as my status however none of these fixes worked for me.
