How to clear play queue?

Is there a way to clear the play queue? I've read a couple articles which say that there's a Clear button on the queue screen. However, I've looked at both the desktop and web app and there is no Clear button. Did Spotify remove the button? Is there a way to get it back? How do I clear the play queue?

Thanks for searching for the answer you need here!

We recommend reinstalling your desktop app following the steps in this article. The option allowing you to reset your play queue can be seen as a button saying CLEAR on the right side of the label Next In Queue once you've accessed the queue.

Tip: This option isn't available on the web player.

Another way to clear the active queue is to close the app and reopen it.

If you still don't see the CLEAR option on your desktop app after the reinstall, send us a screenshot of the queue window and we'll take a closer look into it. Just attach the image to your next response to us by using the Insert Photos option in the post editor.

Clear button is missing.OK, I tried it twice and there's still no Clear button.

Got it @JimPragit!

The Next up section is the songs that follow in a certain playlist/album or the ones that automatically start playing after a playlist/album has finished if you have turned the Autoplay function on.

These cannot be cleared since they are technically not queued up manually by you as the user. If you queue up a song, a new section "Next in queue" will be added, together with the Clear queue button.

If you'd like, you can turn Autoplay off with the steps here and no new songs will load up when you're done listening.

If you'd only like to listen to one song and have playback stop after that, you can search for that individual song and choose only it from the results.

Alternatively you can turn on the loop function so that only that song will play, or put only one song in a playlist.
