It's just how Spotify works. Whenever I go to a video or game, the song fades until I can barely hear it and then stops (takes 5 seconds). I've been using Spotify on Pc for more than a year now and this never happened. I'm used to Spotify being in the background while I'm playing or watching a video in Youtube. I've even used spotify while in f1 2020 before.
