Shuffle button is greyed out unless already listening to a playlist or album

My Question or Issue

If I open the app fresh, or if I listen to the Spotify radio, the shuffle button is greyed out and unavailable. This is expected behavior. However, this means that if I switch to an album or playlist, I cannot shuffle from the beginning. There is no "shuffle play" button on desktop. I need to pick a song to start playing, and only THEN will the shuffle button become available.

I would like to play the ENTIRE playlist shuffled without picking the first song in order to enable the shuffle button.
