Spotify unresponsive after using search

My Question or Issue

After using "Search", Spotify becomes unresponsive. I cannot start/stop playing music, i cannot change the song and I can only terminate Spotify from the task manager.

I have attached a video clip of it..... Or I WOULD HAVE uploaded a video clip of it, but apparently not even that works (The file type ".mp4" is not supported. Valid file types are: ... ".mp4".) See screenshot.

Jesus Christ. You had an app that worked and then you destroyed it. You bloated it with pointless functionality, such that basic features don't work anymore. It's really nice to have a music player, that cannot play music.

This searching issue is currently being investigated. Please head over here, add your vote and check out the Status Update. It contains a workaround that might help you as well. 🙂

The issue about uploading .mp4 files has been reported and the right team is on it. Thank you for pointing it out!
