Overlay not appearing when playing games

i dont know what happened but i was able to see the overlay and what song was playing and everything and now all of a sudden the overlay just dissappeared, the button to toggle the overlay on and off is on and i dont understand why it isnt showing, i just did a fresh reinstall aswell and that didnt seem to fix it.

Can you give these steps a go and run a clean reinstall? This one is more thorough than the usual reinstall. That way you can make sure the cache is not causing this issue.

If the issue persists, you can send us a screen recording of what you're seeing. We'll investigate this further.
