Be sure to perform a clean &lt;A href="https://community.spotify.com/t5/Spotify-Answers/How-can-I-perform-a-clean-reinstall-of-the-app/ta-p/4746485" target="_blank"&gt;reinstall &lt;/A&gt;when switching between versions.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, i got the same problem, i was contacting with Spotify Support but every single solution they gave me wasnt working. But I found workaround, you have to open spotify as Administrator. It works for me, let me know if it works for you.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
