Spotify keeps deleting songs from my library

My Question or Issue

Hello,

recently I've noticed that Spotify keeps randomly deleting some of my saved songs from my library. It's obvious for example after looking at my "Your Top Songs 2018" playlist created by Spotify where some of the songs are unfollowed (plus instead of tick) and I'm pretty sure that I didn't do it. And I don't mean those grayed out songs, that's not the problem.

This has been happening for some time, I've already had to re-save couple of songs that Spotify deleted from my library. I've also checked and I have 2079 songs saved in my library so it shouldn't be a problem with exceeding saved songs limit. Also I didn't notice any pattern in deleting my songs (e.g. delete the longest followed or delete songs from this artist or this album), it keeps deleting random songs from random artists.

Has someone encountered this kind of problem or is there a simple solution? I don't want to create a separate playlist for all of my songs, as a premium (for students) user I expect the 'save song' feature to work.

I have the same issue. Basically I’ve noticed it with songs I hearted about 3 years ago or longer. Idk if Spotify thinks they’re doing people a favor by trying to keep your faves current but they should really stop

I follow +/- 175 artist at this moment. I use Spotify on multiple device. I can see this problem when I go to my playlist which I made few years ago - and unexpectedly there are some unliked songs - which I surely didn't unlike. This even happened with On Repeat Playlist.

Thank you for your post and for your confirmation.

Can you try to perform a clean reinstall to make sure there's no old cache files causing this.

If it's possible - try with another internet connection to see if the issue persists.
