    <description>&lt;P&gt;This is more of a bug report I guess, but on Windows 10 (1.1.48.625.g1c87c7f7) until I cycle the "show desktop overlay when using media keys" setting the global keyboard hook (or however they're being handled) isn't working... even with the application in the foreground.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-weight: 400;"&gt;Make sure you run a &lt;A href="https://community.spotify.com/t5/Spotify-Answers/How-can-I-perform-a-clean-reinstall-of-the-app/ta-p/4746485" target="_self"&gt;clean reinstall&lt;/A&gt; of the Spotify app on your PC. This will get you the latest app version with all necessary updates.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-weight: 400;"&gt;If you see no difference after the clean reinstall,&amp;nbsp;check your hosts file for entries that need to be removed. Follow the steps described &lt;A href="https://community.spotify.com/t5/Spotify-Answers/Can-t-access-the-Web-Player/ta-p/4631438" target="_blank"&gt;here&lt;/A&gt; on how you can do that.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
