Spotify Pauses Music on Play

My Question or Issue

Anytime I click on the play button the song doesn't start and Spotify attempts to play the next song in the playlist, then fails and pauses at 0:00 with an error message "Spotify Can't play this right now."

The computer is hardwired and I have no internet issues, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the program but that didn't fix it.

You mentioned that you've already reinstalled the app, but would you mind going through the steps of a clean reinstall, as it's more thorough than a normal one?

Additionally, could you let us know if the issue persists using a different internet connection?
