If the issue persists, it's a good idea to give &lt;A href="https://community.spotify.com/t5/Spotify-Answers/How-can-I-perform-a-clean-reinstall-of-the-app/ta-p/4746485" target="_blank"&gt;these&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;steps a go and run a clean reinstall. This one is more thorough than the usual one.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Does the issue occur&amp;nbsp;when you try with another account? That way we can check if it's an account-related issue.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;3 years later, I'm experiencing the infinite ad-loop.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Web player, desktop player.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I refuse to use my phone to fix a bug in the other two Spotify applications.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In trying to watch a podcast, regardless of browser(for web player), desktop player, ads loop infinitely. 30 minutes of constant advertisements, after which the feed pauses. Hitting "play" again restarts the loop.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Spotify is terrible.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;There's not possible to reinstall the web player at the moment.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;You can try to clear your cookies and cache. You can also try to use the web player in a &lt;A href="https://community.spotify.com/t5/Spotify-Answers/What-is-quot-Private-quot-or-quot-Incognito-quot-browsing/ta-p/4587453" target="_blank"&gt;incognito/private&lt;/A&gt; window.&lt;/P&gt;
