&lt;P&gt;Can you perform a &lt;A href="https://community.spotify.com/t5/Spotify-Answers/How-can-I-perform-a-clean-reinstall-of-the-app/ta-p/4746485" target="_blank"&gt;clean reinstall&lt;/A&gt; of the app?&amp;nbsp;This is different from a quick reinstall and could be helpful to get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>[Desktop] Streaming quality keeps changing</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;This problem has appeared last week. My streaming quality is set to "Normal" , yet it acts like it's on "Automatic", and the quality keeps changing based on my internet connection. The problem here is that it keeps changing to the low streaming quality, when I have used the "normal" one before without any problems. This issue doesn't appear on mobile (android) nor on the web player. I tried reinstalling and disabling hardware acceleration, but to no avail.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Plan&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Free&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Operating System&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Windows 10&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
