&lt;P&gt;We'd recommend running a clean reinstall of both your apps. Follow exactly the steps provided in this &lt;A href="https://community.spotify.com/t5/Spotify-Answers/How-can-I-perform-a-clean-reinstall-of-the-app/ta-p/4746485" target="_blank"&gt;Guide &lt;/A&gt;for best results.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;After that try disabling&lt;STRONG&gt; Hardware acceleration&lt;/STRONG&gt; from the Desktop app settings.&lt;/P&gt;
