Limited Options for Sorting Local Files......but why?

Hi,

I've searched through the threads regarding this topic but I've yet to find a solution.

Why do we have limited ways to sort our local files. Other services give you so many different options to add for ease of keeping your files organized. Genre, sort by date, etc.

It baffles me that its so limited. Sort by date is probably the most important column next to song title. It makes managing your personal files almost impossible. I just joined and I'm paying for premium but I'll 95% cancel my subscription in about a month if I can't figure out a solution.

So far I like a lot of what I'm seeing but this feature is one of my top dealbreakers.

Any suggestions for a solution would be greatly appreciated.
