My spotify keybinds stopped working

I usually use FN + the pause, skip, replay or volume up and down keys to use spotify when im busy or in games, but recently its just stopped working, it only works when I actually click into the spotify app, then when I click back out I lose the controls, is there any way to fix this?

Can you let us know if you've already tried to log out > restart your device > log back in? It's also a good idea to try a clean reinstall to clear any old files that might be causing issues.

It's also important that you re-download it from the Microsoft store and make sure your sound drives are up to date.

In case the issue persists, it'd be great if you could let us know your Spotify version.
