Spotify Connect does not work on Desktop

The desktop version will not connect to any other device; either of my two Samsung phones, Stream Deck, anything. I'd uninstalled & reinstalled everything, I'd restarted everything. Nothing is working. Please help.

Just to confirm, did you make sure to follow these steps when reinstalling the app?

Also, could you let us know if the same thing happens from the web player?
