Mouse back/forward shortcut buttons no longer work in new UI update

My Question or Issue

I love the new UI update, but the mouse shortcut buttons for forward and back on my OG model wired Logitech G502 Hero no longer work in the Spotify app. Shortcut buttons still work fine for other applications.
