My secret playlist shows up when a friend is listening to it.

I use Spotify Premium on the desktop app (Windows 10). I made a secret playlist that I shared with only 1 friend. They followed it, but never made it public for their profile. However, it shows on their listening activity. I made another secret playlist, which they did not follow but it still showed on their activity. Yet, whenever they listen to older secret playlists we share, they stay hidden and only the usual (song, artist, album) shows up. This is very confusing and I cannot figure out where the problem lies. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!

Can you try creating a new secret playlist and sharing it with your friend and see if this still happens. You can also try the other way around - let them create a playlist, share it to you and check whether it gets displayed in your listening activity.

Also, let us know if this only happens with specific playlists or is it all recently created ones.
