Chromecast connection breaks when start playing android

Casting form Android device is not possible anymore.

App is connecting tot chromecast 2.

Pushing play breaks the connection and starts locale playing.

Done reinstall and phone reboot.

App version 8.4.30.688

It is really annoying all that instability with the Chromecast... It seems that each new version brings new problems as if there was no one there to test things! Please buy a Chromecast and do some tests with it BEFORE releasing a new version. Thanks!

After 6 years, I have canceled my subscription to spotify. Pity. Spotify
ignores google chromecast problems

Do you know what just worked for me? I have a Google Home Mini and I casted Spotify there before casting to my Chromecast. It now works like a charm, crossing my fingers...
