Offline playlist and External SD

Just got spotify premium today and slightly horrified that I cannot set the playlist to save offline to the external SD (Samsung GS2). Are there any plans to get them to save to external SD. This has to be vital setting for Android (or am I just missing something!?)

Yep there are plans to enable this feature ... it's been in planning since the feature failed to be implemented in the 0.5.x version of the app that was released in April. Make of that what you will

In the meantime an easy solution exists.
Clear data and uninstall spotify; download an older version of the app (Google it); install it; at the login screen, hit the menu buttons and select storage location; change from /storage/sdcard0 to 1.
If your phone isnt running jellybean I guess the path is different.
Log in; menu button and exit; go to market and upgrade to latest. You now have external storage location.
