Issue with spotify current playing song and Android ONE?

Hi Guys,

i just received my Xiaomi Mi A1 Android One phone a week ago and i noticed that when i stream music to my car radio (bluetooth, Skoda Columbus 2017 model) the currently playing song gets updated a few times but then it stops. I can still skip and rewind songs, pause and so on, but it won't show me what songs is currently playing, it simply keeps saying it's playing the song that was playing when it stopped updating.

So i'm at song 5, but the radio screen keeps saying i'm at song 3.

I've tested with my old phone, a Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 using LineageOS and that phone did not show this issue.

I've tried disabling the battery optimizations but that didn't help. Also restarting or reinstalling the app doesn't help.

Anybody have an idea?

I have a similar problem with same phone, with an opel corsa 2017. It cannot show title, artist, but I can listen music, go forward and pause. it may be a bug of the phone?

that is what i am thinking as well. I just got an update of spotify, so let's see if it is fixed.

Just updated spotify and same problem. i tried with other apps and same problem. I think we can exclude a security block. Im sure it is a android one bug. I'll wait android oreo release and test it again.
