I am using connect both via laptop and mobile. Speakers are Samsung R1 lite. The thing is that prior to fiber we had no problems. We have checked with the fiber supplier/ installer and there I are no issues from them. Suspecting a crappy router!

We have recently installed fiber and have boosters in the house for stronger signal.

When playing music on laptop/mobile on our wifi speakers, the music sometimes stops playing as if its paused.

Does it every now and then, worse some days and very irritating!

What is wrong?

Using Connect, the speaker streams direct from spotify's servers so any dropouts are most likely down to poor quality internet. It could be that your wifi signal is inconsistent and moving the speaker closer to your router may help. If it is connected using the 5GHz channel, switching to 2.4GHz can help too as the lower band usually gives better coverage.
