LG Optimus G - App on Lock Screen?

Hello all,

Is there a way for Spotify to show its Widget on the Lock Screen when the app is in use? I use the LG Optimus G. On previous Android Phones, when I am playing music with Spotify, the play/pause/next/previous track buttons appear on the lock screen so I do not have to unlock the phone to quickly access my current playlist to switch or pause tracks.

Is there a way to do this on the LG Optimus G? I haven't found one yet, searching online or through my phone, and was wondering if there was a fix or a way to do this? It would really be great!

The lock screen widget seems quite erratic - for some phones it works and for some it doesn't. If your phone isn't on android 4 though you have no chance.

Yeah, I'm running android 4.04 (ice cream sandwich) but no luck figuring out the widget. Any thoughts?

I have the same problem,

Running Android 4.1.2 on my E975

Did you ever find a solution for this?
