Download local files only

Hi folks, I tried to make a playlist dedicated to my local files and then I tried to download it on my phone but the files just didn't sync. The only way for me to play my non Spotify mp3s was to download my whole playlist, which filled my phone to the brim. When I try to download a regular playlist, DL starts on the spot.

BTW now that I cleared my whole list, when I try to download my whole list local files don't sync either

Hey there! In order to listen to local files from your computer or any other external device, you have to download them.

Thanks, I know that, I've been listening to local files for months, what Iwant to do is to download only my local files on my phone and use my data for the rest

I seem to be having this issue as well. Was working fine this morning and afternoon. I have just added some more tracks, did exactly the same:

Local Files > Added to playlist > Downloaded on computer > Downloaded on phone (same network)

But songs are still greyed out and cannot play on mobile (Android) but can play fine on computer. Why did it work flawlessly this morning/afternoon and now does not seem to do anything.

I even re-installed the app on my phone and computer as advised from a few other posts...but nothing worked.
