Spotify Closing when opening other apps.

My spotify closes when I try to open other apps like Snapchat or a game where I want the music in the background.

How do I keep Spotify on while using other apps that use/record sound as well?

If the music pauses when spotify is in the background, you should find the solution in this post or in this one. If not, post details of your device, android and spotify versions, thanks.

neither of these worked for me. I've tried to many forum ideas and they don't work. I have a 5.1.1 android version and 8.4.31.723 app version. please help me 😞
